Furman University named as
meeting place for 2006 Chapter Retreat.

Greenville, SC: Gamma Gamma Lambda Chapter will hold its annual Chapter Retreat on Saturday July 1st being held at Furman University starting at 9am. GGL is tremendously excited about this upcoming Retreat, and. it will be a time of reflection, promotion, discussion, and celebration of the most illustrious chapter in the great district we call South Carolina.

Brothers are being asked to please review the agenda sent you on email list and we have directions (see Below) to the North Village Community Center on Furman's campus.

The retreat will start at 9am and will end at approximately 3pm. There will be several breakout sessions and we need your presence in a big way to make this both a successful and effective retreat. The agenda is being provided in case you may can only catch a certain session, but we would like for you to be available for the entire retreat, if possible. If Brothers have any questions or concerns, please call Rudy Simmons at 884-1906. And please bring some brothers who are new to the area or have not been active with Alpha for some time. We want ALL ALPHAS in Greenville to be at this 2006 Retreat.

Directions to the Community Center are follows:

From Charlotte, NC and points northeast --

Follow I-85 to Exit 51, taking I-385 North to Greenville. Travel north on I-385 for 8.2 miles into the city of Greenville. Go past the Bi-Lo Center (on your right). This road becomes Beattie Place. Follow Beattie Place (which becomes College Street) until bearing right onto US 276 West towards Travelers Rest and Hendersonville. Continue five miles to the Furman exit.

From Atlanta, GA and points southwest --

Take I-85 to the I-185 exit. Follow I-185 into Greenville. I-185 will become Mills Avenue and then Church Street. Turn left (at the First Citizens Bank Tower) from Church Street onto Beattie Place. Follow Beattie Place (which becomes College Street) until bearing right onto US 276 West towards Travelers Rest and Hendersonville. Continue five miles to the Furman exit.

From Columbia, SC and points east --

Take I-385 into downtown Greenville. Go past the Bi-Lo Center (on your right). This road becomes Beattie Place. Follow Beattie Place (which becomes College Street) until bearing right onto US 276 West towards Travelers Rest and Hendersonville. Continue five miles to the Furman exit.

Once on campus,

... you will see the large fountain straight ahead, and the traffic circle will force you to go to the right. You will see McAlister Auditorium on your right, and make a right turn at the auditorium.

Continue down that road, you will pass over a speed hump, and pass a sign on the right that says North Village buildings A,B,C. You will take the next right, and travel all the way down until you see North Village Building J.
